Registered Massage Therapy
Pregnancy doesn’t have to hurt and neither does the postpartum period.
Often, we all think of the aches and pain that may accompany pregnancy as “normal” but we’re here to tell you that you can feel better at week 35 than you did at week 25!
We can also help you with that breastfeeding hunchback and sore butt that you’ve been dealing with since your little bundle of exhausting joy arrived in the world.
Prenatal & Postnatal Massage Therapy
In fact, you can alleviate the vast majority of the aches and pains of pregnancy with regular self-care. Registered Massage Therapy treatments will increase your overall feeling of well-being while addressing muscle soreness or tension. Registered Massage Therapy treatments during pregnancy have also been shown to decrease rates of postpartum depression and anxiety. Let’s face it; we could all use a little more care in our lives.
Registered Massage Therapy Is Safe
Our massage therapists have over 25 years of combined experience with mamas, and our therapists are trained doulas.
We use special pillows to position you comfortably on the table at all stages of your pregnancy, and our oils are hypoallergenic, safe and gentle. Once your baby has been born, we can use gentle techniques (or not-so-gentle, depending on what you would like and need!) on your postpartum bod, and we can even teach you how to do infant massage on your little one!
If you’ve had a c-section, we can do scar release massage to help your abs heal properly, and Massage Therapy can do wonders for lymphatic drainage when you’re puffy during pregnancy or after giving birth.
Registered Massage Therapy Treatments can improve:
- Relaxation and stress levels
- Blood circulation
- Tight hips and lower back muscles
- Headaches and neck pain
- Rib pain
- Leg cramps, muscle cramps, and charley horses
- Depression and anxiety
- Sciatic Nerve Pain
